3 Mindset shifts construction organisations need to start their digital transformation

In this video, ECLEVA’s CEO Patrick Northcott talks about 3 mindset shifts construction organisations need to take to start their digital transformation journey.

  1. Think platform not software systems. Having 4-6 different siloed systems that staff need to interact with in a day is extremely unproductive. Adopting a platform strategy means organisations invest in compatible systems with common user interface leading to high user adoption. Data is also housed in one place making cross company report building easy.
  2. Invest in apps. Given the diverse digital literacy across construction workers and suppliers, building simple apps will improve data capture and quality and increase productivity.
  3. Automate end to end processes. Investing in automating workflows that trigger actions for various teams at the right times. This means: projects are executed with more speed and consistency, quality standards like ISO9000 are upheld and siloes are broken down.
