SharePoint integration with Appian for University of Wollongong
ECLEVA was recently engaged by the University of Wollongong (UOW) to create an automated integration solution between Appian and SharePoint on Office 365. The solution works in a way that when a new project is created in Appian, a New Case Folder with the corresponding document templates for the project type is also created in Sharepoint. Appropriate metadata is applied to the folder and the templates that it houses – this means any new documents created from the templates will inherit the same metadata tags. The integration also provides users with a customised solution for uploading new documents into the folder.
ECLEVA delivered a solution ensuring that for all associated projects, Sharepoint is being used the same way across the University of Wollongong. This greatly enhances user-experience and allows easy access to University documents.
